it is almost impossible to believe that i am leaving london forever in 16 days. it feels like the end of an era. ten years here, mostly spent partying. so many memories that seem so very distant. and yet it feels like yesterday when i moved into this flat, when i started college, when i fell in love, when i was drinking vodka coke, when my only worry was to go out on tuesdays, fridays and saturdays, often including monday or thursday, just because we could. when i finished high school, i was more than ready to move to london. i was very excited to start my new life and my new life turned out to be great! and now, ten years later, i am more than ready to move to a place i call home, where the sky is blue and the sun is shining, where every season is different and where trees, flowers and fruit have real smells. but mostly is home because of my family. someone once told me life is not about where you live but about the people. life is every thing you do and who you do it with. i happen to think this person is very wise. . .
